The Two-Year Post-Diploma Course for Opticians is available both as a full-time program and for working students. It awards the legally required qualification to practice as a licensed Optician, a regulated profession at the core of the entire optical sector.

The Specialization Courses in Optometry, offered as a one-year full-time program or a two-year program for working students, build on the Optician’s education. They provide all the skills needed to address people’s visual needs and to perform the professional activities reserved for this role.

Finally, the Advanced Courses and Clinical Masters, organized by the IBZ Vision Sciences Department, provide ongoing training and professional development, keeping practitioners aligned with clinical, scientific, and technological advancements and fostering collaboration with other healthcare professions.

With Clinical Masters in Visual Training you acquire the knowledge and skills to carry out optometric diagnosis, treatment and management of symptoms, disorders and dysfunctions of vision to complement and assist, when useful, ophthalmic correction.

Clinical Masters in Vision and Posture provide the knowledge and skills of clinical optometry to understand and assess the correlation between posture and the visual system with the aim of providing a corrective or compensatory ophthalmic device that also provides people with good balance and collaborate with practitioners of other postural receptors.

Binocular vision analysis masters

Current lifestyles subject vision to stress due to the prolonged use of binocular vision skills. The Master's course deals with the different skills and areas of binocular vision together with related visual analysis methodologies, with the aim of formulating ophthalmic prescriptions for the correct simultaneous use of both eyes.
