The Zaccagnini Institute has been present in the world of vision for more than 46 years, operating together with the scientific, economic and civil context.

Among the first in Italy, 35 years ago it started specialization courses in optometry to allow professionals in the sector to achieve the scientific knowledge and clinical skills of optometry, providing:

• qualified teachers, as the expression of the academic world and professions,
• clinics, the largest in Italy, with advanced ophthalmic instrumentation,
• teaching methods always in line with the updates of professional profiles (anticipating the application of Decree 2018),
• digital technologies integrated with the didactics I.C.D – Integrated Customized Didactics.

In 2005, thanks to some participants in the ECM courses who wanted a more complete and structured training, the Zaccagnini Institute held in Turin the first specialization Course in Optometry open to all the Opticians of Piedmont and started an experience that has never stopped and slowly became a tradition.

The Specialization Course in Optometry takes place in Turin at Ottica Amica, the first associated group of Optics in Piedmont, for which we also carry out an annual cycle of refresher courses as part of the Ottica Amica Academy program.

The headquarters of Ottica Amica is located at 31c San Giorgio Canavese Street, 10142 Turin and it is easily accessible and connected to all public and private transport systems.
