On the 10th of September 2018, we inaugurated the Milan headquarters, the school environments were renovated and equipped with the latest generation instrumentation and technologies. This happened also thanks to the partnership with the main Italian and foreign ophthalmic instrumentation companies with which multi-year implementation and development programs have been planned to keep the instrumentation technologically updated.

The school, consisting of optimal environments for educational and training activities, includes:

  • 4 classrooms also equipped with ophthalmic instrumentation,
  • 2 spacious laboratories and clinics, equipped with ophthalmic instrumentation and latest generation equipment,
  • 1 library with texts in Italian and English,
  • 2 study rooms and sports facilities;
  • Students and teachers’ offices and management’s office
  • large recreational space at students’ disposal.

The complex that hosts the Milan headquarters of the Zaccagnini Institute, is a multipurpose building that includes a renowned theatre and a basketball gym designed by the brothers Vito and Gustavo Latis. It is located in the central area of Porta Genova, a neighbourhood that offers many solutions and housing opportunities close to the Institute.  There are many businesses in the area, including malls, banks, public and private health clinics, bars, restaurants and gyms.
